The Tyler Patrolman’s Association is comprised solely of the men and women that work at the Tyler Police Department.

About Us

To this date over 85% of the sworn members of the Tyler Police Department are members of the TPA. In 2018, the TPA became a chartered lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police to assist us in serving not only our officers and civilian staff, but becoming more benevolent in the community that we are honored to serve.

Protect the interests of its members

Enhance the working and economic welfare of its members

Ensure that the officers have the tools needed to protect the citizens of the City of Tyler

We work to achieve this through a positive collaboration with the Police Administration and City Officials
